The Houston Section of the STLE has moved our meeting date to Friday!!!! With Harvey wreaking havoc on the Houston area, we have had to scramble to locate new venues - so please be sure to double-check the Calendar Page to confirm dates and locations!!! Get yourself on our mailing list (near bottom of left navigation column) to be notified of meeting announcements.

Hurricane Harvey has certainly made things interesting. After a postponed September meeting (to be made up in June), we are kicking off this season at a new venue (as Brady's sustained several months worth of storm damage). On Friday, October 6th, Steele Glen, Pump Industry Manager at Summit Brand Division, will visit us from Maryland to talk about lubricants, accompanied by a family style lunch at the new venue (Maggiano's Little Italy, 2019 Post Oak Boulevard, Houston, TX 77056). Socializing at 11 AM, presentation starts at noon, as always. More details will follow, pre-registration (via the Paypal link on our Calendar Page) would be appreciated, as we need to know how many people to RSVP for.

Did we mention that Harvey also washed out our normal Kingwood Golf location? The Houston Section STLE Scholarship Golf Challenge will be at Augusta Springs in Spring, TX on November 1st. More details and a link to registration can be found on the Golf Page

The STLE Houston Section's Monthly meeting provides a platform to network, advance the knowledge, learn current trends in tribology, lubrication and related industries, good food and much more. Visitors are welcome to attend any of our monthly technical meetings. Hope to see you soon!

The map below shows the location for our normal meetings. Brady's Landing Restaurant (Houston) is located at 8505 Cypress Street, in southeast Houston, at the turning basin of the Port of Houston Ship Channel.
